Volteum
Superior optimisation delivers proven fleet value within Europe’s largest emissions-intensive sector
UN Sustainable Development Goals
Volteum is an AI‑driven operating and optimisation system for enterprise and upper‑mid‑market fleets, helping them electrify and run EVs reliably at scale. A product‑led team, it has outperformed incumbents in major tenders with an optimisation core far beyond standard scheduling tools. Volteum consistently delivers measurable value, enabling fleet operators to transition smoothly and operate EVs with confidence.

Problem

The transition to electric vehicles is one of the most critical steps toward Europe’s Net Zero goals. Transport remains the EU’s largest source of emissions, with reductions barely shifting since 2005 aside from the temporary COVID‑19 dip. Road transport dominates this footprint, prompting tighter EU standards for light‑ and heavy‑duty vehicles. With 26% of Europe’s road vehicles belonging to fleets, electrification hinges on both economics and operations: upfront investment, running costs, ESG‑related penalties, grid‑capacity constraints, and the need to adapt schedules to EV range and charging requirements. Fleet electrification is ultimately a systems‑level challenge, not just a technology swap.

Solution

Volteum makes electrified fleet operations predictable, efficient, and profitable hence effectively removes the key barriers to fleet electrification.

Volteum Impact Overview

Volteum integrates live vehicle data, real‑time charging information, and operational inputs from transport‑management and telematics systems. These datasets form a unified, continuous feedback loop that no single system captures today, revealing how vehicles, energy use, and daily duties interact. This foundation enables accurate, context‑aware optimisation of fleet electrification and ongoing EV operations.

Through proprietary data capture and advanced AI models, Volteum forecasts energy consumption, dynamically predicts range, optimises charging schedules, and identifies operational anomalies or underutilisation. These activities generate actionable outputs: EV‑mix design, TCO analysis, infrastructure planning, depot‑level charging optimisation, smart vehicle allocation, mixed‑fleet management, and sustainability reporting. Together, they turn fragmented operational data into precise, real‑time decision intelligence.
As more vehicles transition to EVs and more charging is optimised, fleets become predictable, efficient, and profitable to operate. By removing financial, operational, and energy‑management barriers, Volteum accelerates large‑scale fleet electrification and strengthens the economics of the clean‑transport transition.
